Join a PDA Issue Organizing Team!

We highly encourage signing up for a PDA Issue Organizing Team (IOT) if you wish to actively engage in the work of PDA and PDSonoma County. If you have not already done so, you can get started by clicking on Committees on the menu at the top of the PDSonoma website home page and there you can:

**sign up for a PDA Issue Organizing Team via the PDA website and

**find the name and contact information for the local PDSonoma chapter team leader for that IOT. If you have not already done so, let that person know that you have signed up for the PDA IOT and they can add you to their local chapter list of activists on that particular issue.

If you have already signed up for a PDA Issue Organizing Team (IOT), note that the current schedule of IOT Conference Calls is accessible via the PDSonoma website (right hand column). The monthly conference calls are an important resource for PDSonoma activists who are doing lobbying or any public education. These calls allow us to be current on PDA strategy and priorities. The calls also serve as a prime means of communication from us to PDA national organizers and a great means of cross pollination of ideas among PDA activists in California and nationwide.

If you have to miss a call, note that they are all recorded and available via the PDA website IOT pages or Blog and many are posted to the PDSonoma website.
