PDA ACTIVISTS:

PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE PARTY CONVENTION,
APRIL 24-26 IN SACRAMENTO!

At recent annual conventions of the California Democratic Party, there has been a noticeable contrast between the growing progressive energies at the party’s base and the shortage of accountability from the top of the state party.

Now, some of us who are members of PDA and active in the State Party are very encouraged that Hilary Crosby is running for Controller of the California Democratic Party. She’s a longtime party activist with deep progressive commitments. She combines the professional knowledge of a seasoned CPA with wide-ranging experience working for the party. As Controller, she will give a tremendous boost to party fund-raising and implementation of the 58-County Plan.

We’re convinced that Hilary Crosby will bring vitality, great skills and accountability to a key post in the California Democratic Party. Her extensive background includes working as Controller of HERE Union Local #2, serving as bookkeeper for the ACLU of Northern California and teaching at the University of San Francisco Nonprofit Management Masters degree program.

As a Democrat with the skills and progressive commitment that we need for Controller of the state party, Hilary Crosby has our enthusiastic support! She represents the kind of change inside the Democratic Party that we’re working for in PDA.

See you at the convention in Sacramento!

Yours in Peace & Justice,
