Daniel Ellsberg and Norman Solomon will talk about reasons for this delegation and hopes for alternatives to more war.

With deadly violence escalating in Afghanistan, the people of the United States need accurate information and independent analysis, unfiltered by government authorities or media spin.

The nonprofit Institute for Public Accuracy is organizing and sponsoring a potentially historic trip to Afghanistan. This independent delegation will meet with — and listen to — Afghan people and humanitarian aid workers who are routinely bypassed by official delegations and the U.S. mass media.
